Job Description PLANNING
– Weekly brewing plan issued to meet projected sales forecast and TPT managed.

– Coordinate with Supply chain for raw materials to meet sales plan, no stock outs, and minimum stockholding achieved.- as per Syspro standards

– Planning for preventive and predictive maintenance of equipments with Manager Engg.

OPTIMUM PROCESS PERFORMANCE

– Analyze performance data to determine opportunities for improvement. Ensure multidisciplinary approval before implementation.

– Continuous improvement on identified key parameters, variable & fixed costs as agreed on KRAs.

– Cost per hectoliter managed down to meet or better budget. Look for waste, and stimulate awareness in employees.

– Measure process performance and variable usage. Together with appropriate action plans necessary to correct below standard situations. Measured and report on a weekly and monthly basis.

OPTIMUM PLANT AND EQUIPMENT AVAILABILITY

– Develop and continuously upgrade SOPs and implementation of Manufacturing Way. Use the 5 why process to solve problem. Maintain appropriate records.

– Planned production and fixed cost targets met.

– Plant availability is measured and reported weekly and monthly. Together with appropriate action plans necessary to correct below standard situations.

SAFE AND HEALTHY WORK ENVIRONMENT

– Conduct regular (at defined intervals) internal safety and housekeeping audits to identify unsafe or unhealthy conditions and items of statutory non compliance

– Take action to eliminate unsafe or unhealthy conditions and items of non compliance with the Factories Act in coordination with Safety Committee / HR

– Make the workers aware of the need of safety & house keeping & to try and reduce the accidents to the minimum and prevent their recurrence.

– Documented if incidents occur and action taken where required.

– Equipment safety inspections are done and documented in appropriate registers according to Factories Act and general good working practices.

– Safe working procedures specific to plant are documented approved and users are trained in their use.

– Personal protective equipment is used and maintained in good working condition by employees. Records of equipment issued are kept for each employee. Schedule for each employee and budget not overspent.

– A place for everything and everything in its place (i.e. 5S). Generally neat and tidy and free of dust and waste.
