You will also be involved in the transition of second line support processes and functions to the new team in Mumbai.
Interested candidates should have a proven track record of supporting a significant sized server Infrastructure. The successful candidate for this role should have at least two years experience in a server and hypervisor support focussed second line support role and should have experience of VMware ESX and Windows server 2008/2012/AD Knowledge of Netapp storage technologies would be advantageous. Candidates should have a solid understanding of networking fundamentals and concepts, and an appreciation of security standards, best practices and principals.
Candidates should have excellent English, strong communication skills and a degree in computer related science or related scientific field with strong academic credentials is required. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant IT industry technology certifications. (E.g. ITIL foundation, MCSE/MCSA/VCP)
This role will require the successful applicant to work a rotating shift pattern, this will initially cover 14:00 to 22:30 and 22:00 to 06:30 Monday to Friday (including public holidays).
