Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Drive process & product quality and reliability of new and enhanced systems, products and Mobility Applications
Take integral ownership of system / product quality and the quality management processes in projects
Identify and drive the improvement initiatives at project and organization level.
Education Qualification:
Must Have: Technical Academic/University degree (B.E/MCA)
Preferred: M.S. / M. Tech / Masters

Work Experience:
Years of Experience: Process and Product Quality Management for 12+ years
Area of Experience:
Experienced in Quality Assurance methods and tools
Experience on deployment of CMMI (for development) in SW development organizations
Has knowledge of the relevant technologies to the product category concerned.
Is able to apply the appropriate statistics to give contents to fact based decision making.
Analytical knowledge or experience.
Exposure to Software/ Hardware development life cycles
Exposure to working with suppliers and vendors
People development, management, coaching team members
Exposure to Mobile Applications development projects

Key Technical Skills & Competencies:

CMMI (development) deployment, maturity assessments
Methodologies: DFSS, DMAIC, LEAN application to achieve organizational and business goals
Software Programming : C / C++/C#/Java
Basic Understanding of electronics
Software engineering Practitioners approach
Knowledge of Approbations and Compliance for various standards, regulations, guidelines etc. applicable for Mobile Applications Industry

Speaking Up: Voices concerns and disagreements, in an open fact based manner, particularly towards Project Leaders and Marketing Managers.

Being Informed: Keeps contact with team members and stakeholders to acquire the relevant information on quality matters.
Keeping Informed: Keeps the stakeholders timely informed on the product quality status, issues & risks.
Showing Leadership: Makes sure that quality issues in a project are solved timely
